Allan Martin - Principal - - I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1975. I was an Elementary Education Major with two minors; literacy and math. I earned my master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Maine at Orono. I taught in MSAD # 49, in Clinton for 19 years. I taught grades K, 1, and 2 in the summer time. I taught grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 during the school year. I spent the majority of my time teaching grade 3. I began my administrative experience in Windsor, Maine, which is a K-8 building. I was there for 4 years. I have been the principal of the George J. Mitchell School since 1996.

Wendy Roy - Assistant Principal - - I have been an educator for the Waterville School System for thirty-five years. This year, I begin my sixth year as Assistant Principal at the George J. Mitchell School. I love the Mitchell School and our dedicated staff! I have been involved in Migrant Education, Special Education, taught first grade, second grade, multiage, and kindergarten. I graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration. I live in Winslow with my wonderful husband, Mike. I have three grown children and two grandchildren. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I especially enjoy quiet times with my family in Greenville.
