Program that offers parenting programs and community trainings on a year round basis. Parent programs include Active Parenting, Nurturing Parenting, Bootcamp for Dads, and Kids First. Other programs may be offered based on request.
Community trainings include Infant Safe Sleep, Period of PURPLE Crying, Mandated Reporting and Strengthening Maine Families.

KVCAP Maine Families provides home visiting support services for all pregnant women, expectant fathers and parents or primary caregivers whose baby has not reached 4 months of age and/or anyone 21 years of age and under expecting a baby or whose baby has not reached 6 months of age. Families must live in Kennebec or Somerset counties. Participation is voluntary and free of charge. There are no income restrictions.

The Teen Parent School Program at the Maine Children's Home is an alternative high school program for pregnant and parenting teens. The program provides prenatal and parenting instruction along with academic and life skills courses. Counselors available to assist students. Targeted case management. This school program is open to all pregnant and parenting teens statewide.
