Jennifer Lachapelle - - I am a graduate of Skowhegan Area High School and the University of Maine at Farmington. I began my teaching career in 1989 at Mt. View and Unity Elementary. I have been at the George J. Mitchell school since 2000. I live with my husband and two sons. I enjoy scrapbooking family pictures, and reading books with happy endings.

Jodi Leclair - - I attended the University of Maine at Farmington and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in the Waterville Public Schools since 1989. I have taught first and second grades. My husband, Ken, and I have two children; Katherine and Joseph. We reside in Fairfield with our dog, Sammy. We enjoy swimming, dancing and attending sporting events (The Red Sox are our favorite team)!

Jessica MacDonald - - My name is Jessica MacDonald. I am from Winslow, but graduated from Waterville High School. I attended Thomas College as a double-major and received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Since earning my degrees, I have continued to take courses through the University of Maine system and now hold my professional teaching certification for early childhood as well as elementary education. I got a job working for AOS94 right out of college and worked in different grade levels every year that I was there. I have taught PreK all the way through 4th grade. I'm now very excited to get an opportunity to work so close to my home in AOS92. I live in Winslow with two dogs (a Pomeranian and a German Shepherd) and a Maine Coon cat. I enjoy camping, hiking, and fishing. The fall is my favorite time of the year because it is so beautiful outside!

Cheryl Martin - - I graduated from the University of Maine. My first year of teaching was in New Hampshire, teaching second grade. Then I moved back to Maine and got a job at Waterville and have been here ever since. I have taught first grade, third grade and now kindergarten. In 1997, I received my Master’s Degree from the University of Maine. I am married and have two wonderful children, Sarah and Chad. I have two cats, Lucky and Shadow. My children play many sports all year long. My husband has coached many of their teams but we really enjoy watching them play. We also enjoy spending time at our camp, swimming and boating.

Mary Matson - - BA, Anthropology, University of Massachusetts, Master’s in Education, Thomas College. I enjoy knitting, reading, walking and spending time with young children.

Marjie McKenzie - - I graduated from UMO in 1986. I have been teaching since 1986. I taught 2 years in a private setting. I taught 11 years in 3rd grade. The rest I have been teaching Kindergarten at GJMS.

Judith O'Donnell - - B.S. in Education UMF; Master's Degree at Thomas College; I enjoy cooking, gardening, and spending time with my family.
